App for Personal Travel Stories

Concept: This was a school project where the challange was to create a platform for travel information. The user in the scenario wanted to access general information about a location, as well as suggestions for accommodation in the area. In addition to this, I added some extra content that may be relevant to an online travel guide.
Problem Discovery: For this project I used my knowledge from graphic design by focusing on sketches, colors, alignment, and typography. After researching competitors in the fild and looking at inspiration for my site I came up with a different concept, a platform where you share your personal travel stories as a blog rather then just read general information. This way the users would get hands on, relevant information that only a person who knows a place very well could provide.
Solution Discovery: As the wireframes evolved from low-fidelity to high-fidelity I was also asked to create a logo for the site, as well as all the photographic and written content had to be self-made.
